Responsibilities

Condition monitoring
Assigning periodical preventative maintenance schedules that are on the SAP CMMS to artisan to conduct condition inspection of equipment while the line is running for their daily shifts.
Supervising contractors, monitoring and tracking of shutdown jobs during the planned weekly line shut downs and total shutdown
Making sure that the OHS acts and regulations are adhered to and 5's.
Involved in the root cause analysis of challenges using 5Why
Issuer of permit to work and hot work permits to contractors for ad hoc and shutdown work
Extracting feedback from ad hoc work orders, condition monitor inspector's line walk reports and from periodical preventative maintenance schedules of work that needs to be done when the line is not running on a planned stop (Shutdown) and capture it on the opportunity jobs list.
Coordinating maintenance planning meetings between engineering superintendents, production and sanitation in preparation of the upcoming week shutdown.
Planning and scheduling maintenance work (MS Project)
After liaising with different engineering superintendent referring to the opportunity jobs list and prioritizing critical and overdue work, then schedule work with artisan that will be on shift and organize offshift artisans and contractors taking into consideration budget and amount of work.
Coordinating shutdown post mortems with engineering team, production, and sanitation and quality department.
Work order management and archiving
As work orders are brought back to the planning office by the superintendents after sign off, feedback is extracted and the line clearance along with the job card audited if it is done or not and then filing work orders for history and external audit purpose.
Creating new task lists to be attached on the new periodical preventative or predictive condition inspection (CI) schedules or planned maintenance (PM) schedules on SAP CMMS.
Maintaining the schedules on the system by deleting, editing, adjusting schedule call up periodical frequencies.
Master data controller adding new equipment on the SAP system equipment hierarchy and deleting redundant or equipment that has been physically removed from the plant
Creating and maintaining equipment bill of materials (BOM's) on each equipment
Adding off new artisans on the SAP system and training them
Supporting the engineering team with their SAP system issues by resolving them or escalating by raising tickets to the business SAP support team as a SAP super user
Monitoring, verifying data capturing integrity on the system the team.
