    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor or Team Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who have worked in shared services environments.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Oversee creditors clerks and their daily tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
    2. Implement effective transaction processing aligned with established policies and procedures.
    3. Conduct first-level reviews and approvals of payment runs, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
    4. Provide urgent payment approvals when necessary, upholding company standards.
    5. Respond promptly to supplier and business queries, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively.
    6. Possess in-depth knowledge of tax compliance related to accounts payable processes, ensuring adherence to regulations.

    Qualifications

    A finance degree or diploma is required for this position.

    Key Requirements

    • Proven experience in accounts payable roles, preferably in shared services environments.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and motivate staff.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
