Description
Shipping & Costing Controller, reporting to the Supply Chain and Annuity Manager.


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Matric certificate
  • Diploma in Costing Management or equivalent qualification (added advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years working experience as a Shipping Controller or Shipping Clerk
  • Experience in Financial and or administrative position with a focus on creditors and preferably some exposure to foreign exchange and dealings
  • Communication Skills Above average, able to communicate with a variety of people
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within a team

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • International shipments processing.
  • Accident Arrival Condition reports.
  • Record keeping.
  • Goods In Transit (GIT).
  • Monthly Costing Reports.
  • Control of the processing of Courier (red alert) shipments.
  • Control of the processing for local shipments (assigning).
Position is based in Woodmead


Salary:
From R35,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
