Qualifications, experience, and skills:


  • Master's degree in civil, mechanical, industrial engineering, physics, or related fields
  • At least 10 years' experience in RDI and commercialisation industry or leading research and technology organisation (RTO) at a senior management level
  • Doctoral degree would be a preference
  • Business Management qualification would be advantageous
  • Experience of strong people management and organisational development skills
  • Evidence of highlevel stakeholder management, transportation industry related networks
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Leadership of diverse RD&I teams
  • Strategy development and implementation
  • Policy development and implementation
  • Proven track record of successful IP commercialisation
  • Ability to understand, integrate, and provide technical leadership across all domains
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and highlevel conceptualisation
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • HCD implementation and capacity development
  • Business development
  • Financial acumen
