Your Role

Working closely with internal stakeholders in Customer Service, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Production, the
Senior Material Planner, Chemicals & Raw Materials plays a pivotal role in the material requirement planning (MRP) process for resale and inhouse production of complex finished products and a wide range of raw materials.

You will join a diverse team of Supply Chain planning professionals and contribute to the long-term success of the function that offers attractive opportunities for career growth.

Main responsibilities include:

• Ensure timely availability of all raw materials (imports and local) for both resale and inhouse production
• Customer order confirmation and stock allocation
• Maintenance of SAP material master data, including monthly / adhoc reporting
• Identification of and information about potential maketoforecast products
• Plausibility check of MRP result and initiation of sourcing process for (raw) materials
• Identification of potential maketoforecast products, maintain material classification
• Planning of multiple production steps (for example concentrate planning, etc.); coordination with related functions (OM, Production, QM)
• Stock management and preventative measures for slow movers, deadstocks, and blocked materials, etc.

About You

• Degree as Supply Chain Planner or equivalent educational background and experience in supply chain and/or demand planning
• At least eight years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Stock Management and/or Production Planning in the Chemical industry
• Strong skills and knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and production processes
• Proficient SAP user with high level of computer skills (SAP, MS Office)
• Demonstrated leadership skills; prior team leadership is considered beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Proven ability to build sustainable relationships with team members and key stakeholders
• Cultural awareness and ability to work in a diverse, multicultural matrix environment
• Solutionoriented working style with strong analytical and process thinking
• Proven problem solving / critical reasoning capabilities
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Business fluent English, both verbal and written
