    Vacancy: Food Service Assistant

    Our client, a leader in the hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced food service assistant to support the supervisor and site manager. Candidates must reside in or around the Tokai or Retreat area.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring exceptional customer experience at all times.
    • Create daily lists of ingredients required for food production.
    • Maintain stock levels by coordinating with the canteen manager or supervisor.
    • Report any equipment damage or breakage.
    • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene standards in food production areas.
    • Complete administrative tasks as requested, including temperature monitoring, waste management, and cleaning schedules.
    • Collaborate on effective stock management and portion control strategies.

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Matriculation certificate (Grade 12).
    • Prior experience in food handling environments.
    • Demonstrate high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
    • Background in a food service environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
