Cape Town TV is looking for a talented digital media content creator to help us create original and engaging content for our social media account and digital platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for turning content ideas into videos, photos, infographics, and text captions. You will also assist the social media coordinator to create and execute a content calendar. A deep interest in current social media trends is required to be successful in this role.


Responsibilities:

The job entails creating video, photo and graphic content featuring behind-the-scenes at studio productions, events, workshops and marketing promos. Work experience in NGOs or community organisations would be an advantage.
Create various forms of social media content - text captions, videos and images suitable for social media platforms.

Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the channel to maximise engagement, reach and sales.

Ensure content created aligns with our 'brand voice'.
Produce live social media content at events.


Requirements:

Qualification in graphic design, digital media or a related field.
Qualification or proven ability to shoot high-quality photos and videos.
Experience in photo retouching and video editing.
Experience in software packages such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Work experience in the field of digital content creation.
Ability to turn a concept into compelling content.
Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content.
Extensive knowledge of how to use the popular social media platforms.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure as well as within a team.
A good 'eye' for aesthetically pleasing graphic design ideas.
