Key Responsibilities

Understand business issues and data challenges to identify areas for improvement.
Analyse business processes and develop solutions to strengthen them.
Create, document and review requirements, specifications and recommendations for proposed solutions.
Develop business, functional and system design specifications for client engagements.
Design and solve problems proactively.
Provide technical recommendations and conduct testing.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing efforts.
Contribute to the development process in an Agile framework.
Evaluate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Work with business personnel to identify required changes and communicate them to the Platform team.

Effective Communication

Facilitate meetings between the Platform team and business stakeholders.
Deliver informative presentations that engage audiences.
Communicate sensitive information tactfully.
Act as a change agent for projects and initiatives.
Manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Demonstrate technical understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Have experience working in Agile or Hybrid Agile teams.

Education, Skills and Specialist Knowledge

Degree/Certification in Business Analysis and/or Project Management.
IIBA accreditation preferred (CCBA or CBAP).
PRINCE2, PMP, AGILE, SAFE certifications.

Industry Experience

4-5 years of financial industry experience in IT systems development.
2+ years System Analyst experience highly beneficial.
3+ years Credit or Retail Lending experience highly beneficial.

Technical Skills

Process methodology using BPMN and Process Flow diagrams.
Understanding of BABOK and TOGAF.
JIRA, Visio, MS Office.
SharePoint.
