The company has an exciting opportunity for a versatile, experienced individual to join the team as a QC Manager.

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with the FSSC certification and management system, as well as the implementation and enforcement of Food Safety Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, and best practices w.r.t.

personnel hygiene management.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and maintain food safety and quality management systems in accordance with FSSC 22000
  • Develop, maintain and update all records, manuals, training procedures, and product specifications as defined in the Quality Management System
  • Assist with the preparation for Food Safety audits and other certification audits
  • Ensure implementation and enforcement of Good Manufacturing Standards
  • Ensure that best practices in personnel hygiene management are maintained
  • Identification of all quality and food safety risks

Requirements:


  • BSc in Food Science, Microbiology, Consumer Science or National Diploma in Food Technology
  • At least 5 years' experience with food safety and quality management systems in a food facility
  • Knowledge and understanding of FSSC 22000 and Organic Certification standards is essential
  • Understanding and experience with Cin
  • Welldeveloped knowledge and understanding of traceability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and managerial capability
  • Diligent team player with a passion for food safety and quality assurance
  • Willingness to travel
