The University of Fort Hare seeks to appoint for the following vacancy:




LECTURER :
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

The Department of Business Management strives to be pioneering in terms of research and teaching related to the management sciences.

This is achieved through cross-cutting research that also assists the practitioner-policy press concerning the management of businesses.


Minimum Requirements:


  • A master's degree in Business Management or related field
  • Registration towards a doctoral degree in Business Management or related field
  • At least three years' teaching experience in a higher education environment or one year in a higher education environment plus relevant industry experience
  • A research record supported by publications in DHET accredited journals

Added advantages:


  • Experience in teaching marketing or strategy
  • Experience in postgraduate supervision

Responsibilities include:


  • Teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Participate in curriculum design and implementation of newly accredited programmes.
  • Attract funding and conduct research in the field of business management
  • Supervise postgraduate research
  • Participate in public engagement activities within the department
  • Academic administration and citizenship
