Wire-Mesh Machine Plant Manager Urgently
Conductor-In-Training are responsible for learning the operation of the Wire Mesh Welding Machine.


What Will You Do?

The Plant Manager's primary responsibilities include leading the operation and maintenance staff, the daily management and coordination of plant operations including production, logistics and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all labour, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations.

This is a hands-on position that is responsible for productivity maximization.


Responsibilities:
Production

• Plan, organise, direct and run optimum daytoday operations to exceed our customers expectation.
• Lead production improvement by analysing performance on the basis of machines, people, systems
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and ontime completion make the system and run the system and manage people.
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
• Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
• Address employees

- issues or grievances by actively engaging with employees and HR department.

• Constantly monitor and review attrition, employee satisfaction, training.
• Systems Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions in nonproduction related departments such as Stores, Dispatch, Maintenance, Security, HR.
• Collect and analyses data to find places of waste or overtime.
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on production.

Qualifications:


Required Skills:

• National Diploma: Electrical or Mechanical
• Engineering Degree or Equivalent Advantageous
• Able to perform repetitive job functions; hand mobility, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
• Able to stand for at least 8 hours per day
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 15 kgs.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures

Preferred Skills

• Six+ years of experience with mechanical equipment & general manufacturing experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience in use of measuring gauges
• Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic valves, cylinders, pumps, motors and motor controls, variable frequency drives, contactors, breakers and PLC controls
• Basic electrical background (12 v to 480 v) and experience with 3 phase electric troubleshooting

Remuneration:
R21,000

Salary:
From R21,000.00 per month

• Wynberg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
