    About the Role

    We are seeking a Junior Brand Manager to assist in implementing and managing the annual brand plan for PoolXpert based at our offices in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager and report directly to the Marketing Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Media Management:
      • Maintain social media presence by increasing followers, creating content, and fostering engagement.
      • Coordinate and publish announcements regarding product launches and events.
    • Website: Maintain PoolXpert website with assistance from an appointed agency to ensure SEO implementation, tracking, and frequent updates.
    • PR & Customer Communication: Draft and distribute communication concerning new product launches, campaigns, promotions, and price increases.
    • Brand Management:
      • Ensure adherence to the PoolXpert CI manual.
      • Deal with multiple suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
      • Assist with national signage project consisting of exterior, interior, and vehicle branding.
      • Develop, implement, and monitor monthly campaigns.
      • Manage promotional and print items; design, quotation, production, installation/distribution.
      • Assist with customer events and launches such as store openings, conferences, and golf days.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Degree in Marketing Management and Brand Marketing.
    • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
    • Project administration experience required.
    • A natural flair for digital opportunities.
    • Good computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Solid graphic design knowledge in Adobe Suite - Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator.
    • Photography & Videography skills advantageous.
    • WordPress & E-Commerce experience advantageous.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Team player, but also able to work independently.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Local travel may be required.
