    Job Description
    We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to manage the effective, accurate and timeous processing of multiple payrolls and benefits for all City Logistics employees. The role ensures legal and statutory compliance as well as bargaining council agreements. Key responsibilities include governance, payroll management, stakeholder management, budgeting, people management, and more.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
    • Payroll and Benefits Management: Process payrolls and benefits accurately and on time.
    • Management of Payroll and T & A systems: Oversee the use of payroll and HR systems.
    • Stakeholder Management and Reporting: Communicate with stakeholders and provide timely reports.
    • Budget Management: Assist with budget planning and implementation.
    • People Management: Manage and develop payroll team members.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree (NQF level 7) in Finance or related field.
    • Registration with the South African Payroll Association (SAPA) is advantageous.
    • Advanced Excel Skills and understanding of database tables and structures.
    • 5 years' experience in payroll management and payroll systems specifically Sage People 300 in a unionised environment.
    • Experience dealing with logistics industry bargaining council NBCRFLI.
    • Logistics sector experience is an added advantage.
    • Valid Code 08 driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
    • Able to deal effectively with all levels of staff including senior management.
    • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
