    An Opportunity to Excel as a Data Analyst

    Key Responsibilities and Duties

    Mission Objectives of the Role

    Evaluate and report on DMA, RNG, and GET tasks allocated for testing, adhering to approved methodologies, working documents, and templates, in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and contractual requirements.

    Main Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough reviews of Game Engine Testing (GET) for all product and game types.
    • Perform Random Number Generator (RNG) reviews in line with established requirements.
    • Carry out Data Monitoring and Analysis (DMA) reviews as per agreed frequency per client.
    • Maintain and update spreadsheet models for required reviews.
    • Review and evaluate analytical results to ensure they meet set criteria.
    • Provide regular status and test findings reports to supervisor.
    • Collaborate with department heads for effective issue resolution and cooperation.
    • Familiarize yourself with online gambling industry terminology and concepts.
    • Understand game types, variants, and regulatory requirements.
    • Be knowledgeable about ISO/IEC 17020, 17025, 17065, and related documentation.
    • Ensure all responsibilities are executed efficiently and effectively in accordance with company policies, procedures, and processes.
    • Adhere to jurisdictional manager responsibilities outlined in Standard Operating Procedure - Jurisdictional Management.
    • Complete ad hoc tasks as required.

    Quality Assurance and Control

    • Self-review own findings and documentation.
    • Peer review other analysts' findings and documentation.

    Desired Qualifications and Experience

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Commerce, or IT (NQF Level 7), or equivalent qualification supported by valid evidence of competency.

    Work Experience

    • 1-2 years of relevant data analysis experience in a professional setting.
    • Proficiency in Python and/or R is advantageous.
