Description
Our company is looking to appoint a Debtors Clerk to join our dynamic team.


The Debtors Clerk will report directly to the manager, and will have to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.


Key Performance Areas:


  • Managing Debt collection and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Collect overdue monies
  • Assist with sending customers Statements
  • General Leger
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting including reconciliations and processing
  • Accurate and constant follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments
  • Attend to queries from clients and reconcile customer accounts where necessary
  • Daily and monthly reporting to management
  • Reach daily targets

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Debt Collecting
  • Must have strong Debt Collecting Knowledge
  • Experience in Ms Excel is a must
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in Reconciling Bank Statements
  • Pastel experience will be an advantage

Salary:
R6, R8,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Epping,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • Certificate (required)

Experience:


  • Debt collecting: 2 years (required)
  • Pastle: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)
