We are looking for a
Head of Digital Marketing to develop, implement, track and optimize our clients and our companies digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

The below outlines the main areas of focus and responsibility within the
Head of Digital Marketing position.

The position is a senior executive within the company structure and the appointed professional will report directly to the Managing Director and will be, from time to time, required to perform duties outside of the below.


What are we looking for in a Head of Digital Marketing:

You should have a strong grasp of the current digital market, its tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

You will have oversight and work with the Social Media team and will need to work closely with other supporting teams (such as graphic designers and even inhouse developers).

You must, of course, have Community Management

Skills to interact with our clients effectively and to launch campaigns on time and on budget.


Your Responsibilities pertaining to our Clients, will predominantly include:

  • Plan and execute all client digital marketing requirements with your team, including
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs), together with your team
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (both in Providence Hospitality and Quivertree Digital
Hospitality Solutions) to ensure each hotel client expectations are met

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate endtoend customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate and consult with the responsible parties at head office and at the individual hotels or any other client to ensure the best outcome to their digital marketing efforts
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Maintain and develop relationships with all clients by communicating regularly, understanding their needs and anticipating new marketing opportunities from which they can grow from

Your Responsibilities pertaining to our Companies, will predominantly include:

  • To assist the Providence Hospitality and Quivertree Digital Hospitality Solutions brands to grow in line with our core values
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Be the custodian of the companies "tone of voice" and optics throughout our own websites, social media, and all other media related initiatives together with other professionals within the global company but taking care of regional aspects and nuances in particular
  • Drive brand awareness throughout the region within online and selected print media
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities, understand client and consumer requirements, identify market trends, and suggest technological, process and system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals across its brands
  • Devise cross selling initiatives throughout our portfolio and within your region
  • Implement new advertising initiatives wherever applicable and communicate them effectively within the regional support offices and our clients, should it be applicable
  • Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and manage your Digital Marketing Team to meet their marketing objectives within the organisational structure
  • Maintain and develop relationships with important clients by communicating regularly, understanding their needs and anticipating new marketing opportunities from which to grow

  • Stay current in the tourism industry by attending digital educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • Marketing Degree and/or at least 5 Years in a similar role
  • Proven working experience in Digital Marketing
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate engagement
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools and how to use them
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and datadriven thinking
  • Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
