Marketing Assistant - Epping
CTC R15 000 pm gross up to R20 000 depending on experience

Specialists in the import, distribution & marketing of snacks & confectionery seek a Marketing Assistant.


You will be responsible for supporting the marketing department in various tasks related to market research, campaign planning, content creation, social media management, and event coordination.


  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting market research and gathering customer insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the content team to create and update marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and website copy
  • Manage social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and potential threats
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, managing budgets, and maintaining databases
  • Manage a house team of brand activators
  • Plan the activation calendar
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in a marketingrelated role, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software, such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, or Hootsuite
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tactics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Driver's license and vehicle
