Description
The General Manager - Finance and IT will be responsible for audit coordination, taxation, joint venture activities, managing budgets and cost control activities, and all relevant support to the CEO and the board and board committees.
Finance Manager responsibilities include also establishing procedures and support and advice to senior management on matters under the incumbent's responsibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or related
- Chartered Accountant (preferable) with minimum of more than 10 years + post experience
- Minimum of 10 years or more Finance Management experience.
- Must have managed a full function accounting team consisting of management accountants, accountants and accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Sound knowledge of IT management operations
Must have knowledge of:
- An indepth strategic knowledge of industry, business strategies and company goals
- Specialist knowledge of accounting, budgeting and control principles
- High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Excel in particular).
- In depth understanding of accounting packages
