Our international client is seeking a Senior Firewall Manager to join their team in a
remote capacity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco, Meraki and PaloAlto firewalls and their management systems.
  • Provide timely support for SOC and operational teams.
  • Proactively identify, isolate, and resolve network vulnerabilities.
  • Manage and update firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement necessary security controls and configuration changes.
  • Plan and execute on assigned security projects and initiatives.
  • Work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders within the organisation.

Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum three years of related experience in Firewall Management, Network Administration, or IT Security.
  • Deep knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, PaloAlto, and awareness of CheckPoint firewalls and their management systems.
  • Practical experience with vendoragnostic central management solutions is desirable.
  • Experience in managing complex firewall infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing fundamentals.
  • Excellent problemsolving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with automation and AI is preferable.
