    Requirements:
    • M Eng / MSc Eng/ B Eng / BSc Eng in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 10+ years experience in engineering / product development.
    • 5+ years experience as Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering.
    • In-depth knowledge of systems architecture, design, and development.
    • 3D CAD experience SolidWorks or Creo Parametric (2D AutoCAD software experience is an advantage).
    • Basic proficiency in scripting with Python.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Team player and quick learner.
    • Visionary of future technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with complex project management.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

    Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
    • Collaborate with the Board and Executive team and board of directors to develop growth strategies and initiatives.
    • Set, communicate, and execute the innovation and product roadmap aligned with the organizational strategy.
    • File patents to enhance shareholder value and protect intellectual property in alignment with the strategy.
    • Implement and manage best practices for product development in collaboration with the Quality Team.
    • Lead design and development projects from planning through industrialization, production, and release.
    • Ensure stakeholder involvement throughout the product development process.
    • Lead the engineering team in hardware and software projects for new and existing IP.
    • Guide and support engineers in overcoming technical challenges.
    • Implement and maintain thorough configuration management.
    • Deliver development projects on time, within specifications, and on budget.
    • Provide reporting metrics for the department.
    • Evaluate, negotiate with, appoint, and manage third-party engineering and patent service providers.
    • Provide technical support to manufacturing and oversee the Production Automation System.
    • Oversee technical support services to customers and channel partners.
    • Oversee engineering change management processes within in the QMS.
    • Lead certifications and compliances as required by the market and customers.
    • Stay informed about the competitive and market landscape, expansion opportunities, and industry Developments.
    • Collaborate with the CEO, sales, and marketing teams to ensure new products and services closely align with customer needs.
    • Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of engineers.
    • Report to the Board of Directors on performance against the innovation plan.
    • Inspire, encourage, and cultivate a culture that supports the business vision and strategy.
    • Continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems within the engineering and development functions.
