PROJECT MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various projects within the organization.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.


TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the gaming and hospitality industry.
  • Betting Markets: Indepth knowledge of various sports, including rules, teams, players, and competitions. Understanding of
different betting markets and odds formats.

  • Betting Platforms and Providers: Familiarity with different sports betting platforms, software providers, and thirdparty
integrations commonly used in the industry.

  • Betting Industry Trends: Awareness of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging markets in the sports betting
sector.


Responsibilities:


Project Planning:
Defining the project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Creating a detailed project plan that outlines tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.


Scope Management:

Ensuring that the project stays within the defined scope and managing changes effectively through a formal change control process.


Resource Management:
Allocating and managing resources to ensure the project's successful completion.


Time Management:
Developing a project schedule that outlines the sequence of tasks, dependencies, and deadlines. Monitoring progress and making adjustments to stay on track.


Risk Management:
Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate or respond to them. Continuously monitoring and addressing risks throughout the project lifecycle.


Communication:
Maintaining open and effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients. Providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential challenges.


Team Leadership:
Leading and motivating cross-functional teams to collaborate efficiently, ensuring that team members understand their roles and responsibilities.


Quality Assurance:
Setting quality standards for project deliverables and ensuring that they meet the defined requirements.


Budget Management:
Creating a project budget and monitoring expenditures to ensure the project remains within budget constraints.


Stakeholder Management:
Identifying and engaging with project stakeholders, understanding their expectations, and managing their interests throughout the project.


Skills and Qualities:


Communication:
Strong communication skills to conveying information, clarifying expectations, and addressing issues.


Organization:
Highly organized to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously.


Problem-Solving:
Think critically and find solutions when unexpected challenges arise.


Negotiation:
Negotiating with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to achieve consensus and favorable outcomes is important.


Time Management:
Managing schedules and timelines to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Projects can change rapidly, so being adaptable and flexible is crucial.

Solid understanding of technical concepts related to their projects.
