This well-established, world market leader in assembly and fastening materials have an exciting opportunity for an Regional Sales Manager in Gauteng.


Responsibilities of this role include:


  • To manage, coach, motivate and lead by example in the region
  • Career path planning for current Area Sales Managers as well as identifying up and coming Managers
  • Manage the regional sales team and pick up shops in respective region and address any concerns that might arise within the area
  • Recruitment and selection support
  • Communicate job expectations by reviewing, monitoring and addressing sales performance
  • Conduct regular performance meetings with all Managers
  • Contribute and implement regional sales strategy
  • Accomplish sales and company targes by ensuring implementation of sales strategies
  • Drive growth of customer base development according to set targets
  • Monitor and report on regional sales activities on a daily basis
  • Research business development opportunities in the region
  • Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities
  • Participating in developmental opportunities, reading professional publications and maintain personal networks
  • Development of divisions within territory in line with company requirements

Requirements and Experience:


  • Matric and equivalent
  • Degree or Diploma in Business or Marketing Studies
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP systems (advantageous)
  • Product knowledge within fastening, tools, wood and construction

Market related + Commission + Company Benefits


Salary:
From R40,000.00 per month
