    Description

    Job Role: Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

    As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing complex Storage, SAN, and Compute hardware infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and report on compliance to documented protocols to ensure contractual objectives are achieved.
    • Maintain short-term and long-term Capacity and Availability goals to deliver on day-to-day services.
    • Develop and partake in policies, procedures, and organizational capability to establish sufficient capacity to manage continuity and disaster recovery.
    • Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
    • Engage in annual disaster recovery testing as required and specified in the Contract.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on GORT IT DR plans, policies, and strategies.
    • Manage storage provisioning and zoning.
    • Prioritize firmware maintenance (SAN, Storage, Blade Chassis, Physical servers).
    • Maintain HPE reporting integration (On-prem and Cloud).
    • Perform hardware repairs and maintenance.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in IT.
    • Significant experience with various hardware vendors and certifications.
    • ITIL certification.
    • A+ and N+ Certification.
    • Extensive experience in IT Enterprise size DR, plan, implement, and maintain.
    • Hands-on experience with HPE 3PAR StoreServ I, II, and MSA Storage Solutions.
    • Expertise in Brocade SAN Enterprise Experience.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in an Enterprise IT Environment.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Systems and Systems Integration.
    • Vendor Management.
    • Managing large-scale storage environments (up to 15 Petabytes).
    • Leading technical teams for Plan, Build, and Operate.
    • HPE 3PAR (7000 series, 8000 series) management.
    • HPE MSA and Blade Chassis (9000 series, 7000 series) management.
    • HPE Physical servers (Various models) management.
    • SAN – Physical and Fabrics (Director Class, Blade Chassis switches) management.
