Junior Technical Solutions Advisor (Sales Consultant)

Established company, well known in their industry, with an excellent product range, is looking for solution orientated, technical Junior sales consultants to join their TEAM, under the mentorship of one of our Seasoned Solutions Advisors.

About the Role:


  • This is a
    junior sales position, so you need to be
    eager and willing to learn under the mentorship of one of our seasoned Solutions Advisors.
  • You need to be technically minded,
    solutions orientated, handson, and target driven
:


  • This will start as an internal role, doing quotations, learning the products, updating data bases, contacting customers, under the mentorship of one of our seasoned Solutions Advisors (Sales Consultants), while learning the ropes. As you learn and grow, you will start going out with your mentor to visit Existing Customers, reactive dormant customers, look for new customers, in the mining and heavy industrial industries within South Africa, and learn how to promote, market, sell, install and on occasions service,
    vacuum pumps, pumps, compressors etc

It is essential to be:


  • Technical, solutions orientated, and target driven.
  • Selfmotivated, able to selfstudy, and learn on the job.
  • Willing and able to travel for 24 days at a time within South Africa.
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Get to work and back daily, with own transport or public transport.
  • Must live in Midrand or surrounds.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA's for Solutions Advisors:


  • Consistent
    Target Achievement through effective Pipeline Management Plans & Strategies.
  • Consistently Meet Sales Targets and Conversion Ratios.

Retain, Maintain and Develop existing
Customer Accounts through customer account management, finding solutions, and adding value.

Re-Activate existing customer accounts through building rapport, finding solutions, and adding value.
-
Build New Business through effective lead generation strategies, pipeline management plans & strategies.

  • Do quotations & tenders with excellence in mind.
  • Build, Maintain and Consistently update the
    Customer Database, through capturing contact details accurately, and keeping notes on all interactions with customers on ERP software or other databases as requested/required.
  • Keep Activity Reports on ERP System updated Daily.

Constantly learn about the products that the company has on offer that fall within your Product Division.

Apply what is learned through the
Training & Coaching offered by the company.


SALARY INFORMATION:

-
Basic Salary for a Junior Sales position, starting at R per month.

Commission - Sliding Scale


AFTER a Successful 6-month probation:

-
Provident Fund - 7.5% of Basic Salary after a 6-month probation
