    Retail Media Specialist

    The Retail Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and brand awareness through innovative retail media strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Execute Retail Media Campaigns
      1. Create comprehensive retail media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and target audience demographics.
    • Manage Retail Media Budgets
      1. Oversee and optimize retail media budgets to ensure maximum ROI on advertising investments.
    • Negotiate with Partners
      1. Build strong relationships with partners to secure favorable advertising placements and rates.
    • Analyze Campaign Performance
      1. Track and measure the effectiveness of retail media campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
    • Stay Updated on Retail Media Trends
      1. Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the retail media landscape to inform campaign strategies.
    • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
      1. Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of retail media initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Requirements:
      1. 1+ year of experience in retail media or a similar role.
      2. Experience in consulting, e-commerce, and/or retail/consumer product industries.
      3. Experience in building relationships and driving growth with business partners.
      4. Oral and written communication skills.
      5. Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to work in a startup mode.
      6. Highly organized and results-oriented with a love for responsibility and challenges. Ability to manage multiple advertisers in parallel.
      7. Strong commercial and analytical skills.

    Estimated Salary: R500,000 - R700,000 per annum.
