About the job

Job Purpose and Impact

Key Accountabilities

Manage Trade Agreements for Exports and Imports
Certificates of originals
SARS Compliance
HS Codes
Minimise duties.
Manage the entire Export function including the relevant paperwork
Manage the entire import function including the relevant paperwork
Provide the relevant HS codes
Liaise with multiple entities within the company.
Liaise with SARS
Incoterms
Write up and put procedures/processes in place.
Coordinate global trade and compliance operations within a country or region to meet business goals.
Ensure documents and data meet legal and fiscal requirements and records are maintained in accordance with guidelines.
Independently validate and coordinate import and export transactional data and document requirements to complete crossborder filings and clearance.
Execute and complete mediumimpact internal global trade and compliance project.
Develop and maintain relationships with standard partners to implement crossborder solutions to support organizational goals.
Record, monitor and analyse compliance operations key performance indicators for the location.
Independently solve moderately to complex issues with mínimal supervision,

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Extensive knowledge of trade agreements
Extensive knowledge of import and export controls
Extensive knowledge of HS codes
Extensive experience with SARS RLA system
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Customs Broker License or equivalent strongly preferred.
Strong negotiation and problemsolving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
