Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling (raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished & finished goods)
Compounding
Packing products & collecting samples
Operating all IS systems available (SAP - FIRIMS - FIRDMS)
Keeping documents / procedures well organized
Providing Forklift daily maintenance services when it is necessary
Operating the stackers safely and any material transport devices necessary for the area
Storing products in fixed storage locations, according to specific requirements (FIFO, Kosher, quality status, etc.)
Completing the In-Process Records of the operation
Collecting samples and sending them to QC
Ensuring all products are handled according to food safety protocal
Complying with Hygiene, Safety and Environment regulations
Complying with Quality and Safety Standards (Good Production Practices and HACCP)
Operating equipment with different control systems
Proactive / Reactive identification of issues regarding products, equipment and processes
Understanding of machine and equipment capacity,
Timeously escalate issues as they arise
Flexible to transfer to any other duties considered necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Perform tasks outside of the normal scope where guidance and resources are in place.
Work during public holidays, weekends and extended hours due to operational requirements.
Ensuring that instructions are carried out in a timely manner.
