Our well established client in the FMCG Warehousing and Distribution industry has a vacancy for a licensed and experienced Bendi Operator for their CTN Operation in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Requirements:

Valid Bendi Forklift Operators License
Min 2 years experience operating a Bendi Forklift
Grade 12 or equivalent is required
Familiarity with materials handling and handheld scanner equipment in a warehouse environment is an added benefit

Duties:

Pack inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas as determined by your supervisor and or manager.
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped as determined by your loading sheet.
Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customers service standards.
Quality Assurance
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damages.
Ensure that stock rotational policies are maintained where required.
Report quality variances as and when they occur
Report on any untoward issues, such as damages to machines and or racking.
Ensure that no damaged pallets get racked in the warehouse.
Ensure that any pallet that is moved into the warehouse is properly wrapped.
Loading as and when required.
Efficiently move product from the staging and or storage areas into trucks or trailers as and when required / requested to do so.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a Bendi machine.
