Purpose of the Job:
To effectively manage inventory levels, controls, inventory business processes and systems in order to ensure accuracy of inventory financial records and reduce stock losses.

What you'll have done before:
Baseline:
- NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Logistics / business administration or Finance related).
- 3 years' working experience in Inventory management.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience on SAP (Logistics, materials management, Accounting).
- Ability to work successfully in an everchanging environment and navigate ambiguity
Advantageous:
- 3 years' experience in a warehouse planning environment.
- Knowledge & experience of SAP Extended Warehouse Management.
- Experience in the Lubricants industry

- Collaborate with various business operations to provide accurate financial information and value-added analysis for the purpose of informed decision making and complying with statutory regulations.
- Gain a deeper understanding of the Lubes Supply Chain value chain from a specialist point of view and provide specialist inputs into areas for optimisation and improved sustainability.
- Deliver excellence, amidst tight deadlines.
What you'll be doing:
- Monthly management report on Inventory key performance indicators. The information must be accurate and meaningful, with detailed descriptions of over or under performance.
- Implementing, monitoring, and improving various elements to the Inventory control environment to ensure that related risk is appropriately addressed.
- Ensure cleanliness, accuracy, and completeness of Inventory data and accounting records.
- Identify and develop initiatives to drive efficiencies/improvements in inventory process.
- Planning and management of regular stock counts at all relevant Lubes locations (which include thirdparty blenders).
- Liaise with External Auditors to plan and execute Yearend stock counts for Lubes Inventory.
- Ad hoc request support provided to the business as and when required, also in new projects to provide insight on inventory activities/portfolio.
