Minimum Requirements:


  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or a related field (NQF Level 5).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an HRIS administrator.
  • Extensive experience in analysing HRIS performance metrics and improving processes.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of VIP/SAGE People 300.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to be proactive and use initiative.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work well within a team as well as independently.
  • Must be a SA Citizen.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Captures all HR Information onto VIP/SAGE system.
  • Updating employee information on VIP/SAGE.
  • Maintaining databases, analysing data, ensuring data integrity, and running queries.
  • Closely work with payroll to ensure that all information which informs payroll is correct, complete, and processed in time.
  • Process HR information, draw reports, and manages data.
  • Auditing HR processes and documents, including payroll flow administration, staff turnover, hiring, and termination of service, when required.
  • Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Liaise with business partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery on HRIS.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in the performance of the HRIS.
  • Collaborating with HR managers and other stakeholders to determine HRIS needs.
  • Optimising HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Recording and securely storing HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data.
  • Tracking and implementing technological advancements in the field of HRIS.
