    Description

    Junior Production Technician Role and Responsibilities

    The Junior Production Technician will work on various projects, contributing to the design, development, implementation, and verification of systems, subsystems, testers, and associated software, hardware, and algorithms.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Assembly and testing of systems and subsystems;
    • Design and development of systems and associated software, hardware, and algorithms;
    • Verification and validation of systems and subsystems;
    • Collaboration with Quality Manager for formal quality inspections;
    • Generation of outputs for projects, including design, testing, documentation, production, and verification artefacts;
    • Implementation of S-PLANE system engineering processes, plans, and policies;
    • Supporting minor roles within the company as required.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • B-Tech Degree / Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
    • Required Skills and Experience:
      • Familiarity with Electronic components, PCBs, and Soldering;
      • Relevant industry experience is advantageous.
    • Recommended Skills and Experience:
      • Electronic production;
      • Electromechanical integration;
      • Electronic testing;
      • Integration testing;
      • Product qualification and stress testing; and
      • Production procurement.
    • General Skills:
      • Ability to learn fast and absorb new information quickly;
      • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects;
      • Ability to work independently;
      • Strong problem-solving skills;
      • High standard of communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
