    Job Title: Integration Specialist

    The Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and supporting integration solutions that support Mediclinic's systems.

    Main Purpose of Job:

    This position is responsible for assisting with the design, architecture, standards, and support of integration solutions to support Mediclinic's systems.

    Key Responsibility Areas:

    1. Set Conformance Standards: Establish conformance standards for integration messaging, such as HL7 and FHIR, for Mediclinic and its subsidiaries.
    2. Establish Integration Standards: Assist with the establishment of integration standards, processes, and architecture recommendations for Mediclinic and its subsidiaries.
    3. Optimize Integration Design: Ensure optimal and flexible integration design through business, system, and technical analysis.
    4. Participate in Requirements Analysis: Participate in the requirement analysis and decomposition, design, internal testing, and documentation of integrations (existing and new).
    5. Maintain Key Relations: Work closely with System architects and Integration Programmers and maintain key relations within the ICT environment.
    6. Register Web Services/APIs: Keep a register of web services/APIs and integration points per party with specific detail.
    7. Operational Management: Assist in the operational management of integration solutions.

    Required Education:

    Essential Education:

    1. A degree or formal certification in ICT/Computer Science is required.

    Required Experience:

    Essential Minimum Experience:

    1. At least 3-5 years' experience as an Integration Specialist/Analyst is required.

    Required Job Skills and Knowledge:

    1. API Management is advantageous.
    2. Coding Background is necessary.
    3. Data structures and data transfer mechanisms are essential.
    4. Experience in creating, editing, and reading Schema definitions (XML, JSON) is required.
    5. Knowledge of HL7 or FHIR is necessary.
    6. Intersystems IRIS for Health knowledge is beneficial.
    7. SQL skills for querying are required.
    8. Understanding of service and API function design to meet information requirements is necessary.
    9. Understanding of integration and messaging architecture is essential.
    10. Understanding of integration protocols such as RESTful API, Web service, and Queuing is required.
