Qualifications/Experience:

Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
Logistic and Supply Chain Management Diploma at NQF 6 or relevant similar level tertiary qualification.
Forklift Licence
Computer Literate
Minimum 5 years of experience managing a warehouse, preferably within the manufacturing environment.

Skills:

Good Communication (written & spoken)
Organised and able to prioritise tasks.
Good Time management.
Ability to perform duties with speed and accuracy.

Job Requirement:

Planning & Scheduling of deliveries.
Managing stores clerk.
Managing the flow of all inventories within the production environment.
Manage the preparation and despatch of sales orders.
Experience leading and managing a team.
Experience working on an ERP system is essential (Preferably Sage X3).
Effective materials management, stock service levels and management of potential obsolescence items.
Effective administration and optimisation of processes and systems, ensuring system integrity and controls in place to avoid stock damages, theft and wastage.
Accurate and timeous reporting.
Participate in stockcounts
Proactive risk identification and mitigation.
Effective team and selfmanagement.
Departmental performance indicator reports.

Manage and oversee

Logistics, Transport, Inventory & Distribution.
Strategized transport utilization & planning (internally & externally).
Work closely with the Global Sales Manager (GSM) and Sales Rep's to establish Customer routes and expectations for future Sales Deliveries.
Weekly Reports on all deliveries, inventory to be reported to the GSM to help establish a LEAN transport and Distribution environment.
To be able to communicate with the customer's as well as Internal/External Sales on all deliveries.
