    Description

    Project Implementation Leader

    Key Purpose:

    The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of BTL Global Supply Chain offerings for new and existing accounts within their assigned parameters. They will collaborate with operations and regional IT teams to complete various phases of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation: design, training, configuration, testing, reporting, and support.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Develop and manage project plans
    • Lead functional and interface design workshops
    • Prepare WMS Functional Flow documents
    • Define interface specifications with data mappings
    • Specify report requirements
    • Configure WMS systems
    • Conduct key user training sessions
    • Perform integration testing
    • Support user acceptance testing
    • Manage data migration for customers transitioning from existing systems to WMS
    • Provide on-site support during go-live events
    • Troubleshoot production issues
    • Evaluate customer needs in relation to operational processes while adhering to BTL Supply Chain & Logistics Department guidelines
    • Assist the Logistics Manager in gathering relevant information to define solutions
    • Ensure that business requirements collected by managers are integrated into solutions, supported by Corporate MIS AMOA and editor consultants
    • In case enhancements or evolutions are necessary, document functional specifications and transfer them to the Corporate MIS AMOA and Supply Chain Department for review and validation
    • Verify that implemented solutions align with corporate best practices and appicable architecture
    • Propose reasonable workarounds and document functional specifications
    • Deliver Operational Flow documents
    • Support Domain Managers throughout projects, ensuring follow-up on system configuration, user acceptance tests, and go-live preparation
    • Configure solution components
    • Perform unitary tests
    • Develop client/project-specific labels
    • Generate reports and documents using Cognos SCI product
    • Support MOADs during User Acceptance Testing
    • For EDI implementations:
    • Document functional specifications, operational constraints, and coordinate with Project Managers appointed by the Supply Chain AMOA
    • Organize regular updates with the Supply Chain AMOA during the project phase
    • Complete test scenarios and perform functional tests
    • During User Acceptance Testing, run test scenarios and validate solutions
    • Communicate project advancements in terms of planning and raise alerts when necessary
    • Provide training as required
    • Establish support levels for internal users regarding each service offered
    • Monitor Support Engineers to ensure they maintain adequate support levels for end-users
    • Participate in the implementation and monitoring of customer improvement/productivity plans
    • Exchange best practices with other Local Supply Chain & Logistics AMOA Project Managers and Corporate MIS representatives
    • Act proactively and participate in workshops/seminars related to Supply Chain & Logistics Solution development

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or computer science
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Warehouse Management Systems
    • Proficiency in Manhattan WMS, database management, and SQL statements
    • Power BI expertise is advantageous
    • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and respond efficiently to problems
    • Capacity to work independently and effectively within a team environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
