Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for excellence? Our Client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to take their finance team to new heights.

If you have a BCom Honours degree, possess an advanced proficiency in Excel, and hold a CA(SA) qualification, we want to hear from you

Key Qualifications:

BCom Honours (Essential)
CA(SA) qualification (Beneficial)
5 years of senior management experience in finance
Proven track record in overseeing and training employees
Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities:
As their Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Timely generation of monthly management accounts and reports.
Leading the budgeting process from initiation to implementation.
Reviewing and preparing reconciliations, schedules, and addressing queries.
Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
Coordinating and preparing for interim and final financial yearend audits.
Ensuring effective financial controls are in place.
Cultivating and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
Handling additional ad hoc assignments delegated by the General Manager and Group Financial Executive at head office.

Knowledge Requirements:

Solid accounting background.
Indepth knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
Familiarity with key financial management principles and procedures, including budget development and management, profitability ratios, etc.
Proficiency in IFRS accounting practices and principles.
Understanding of auditing practices and principles.
Ability to analyze complex financial data.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
