Are you a seasoned financial leader ready to make a significant impact? We're seeking a professional to spearhead our client's finance function and drive strategic decision-making.

As a key executive team member, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's future success.

Join the executive team as CFO, driving strategic financial leadership and ensuring effective management to support organisational objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll leverage your extensive experience to guide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

With a focus on growth and profitability, you'll lead finance and IT teams, implementing best practices and fostering stakeholder relationships.

Your expertise in financial analysis and risk management will be instrumental in driving business decisions and mitigating potential challenges.


Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (SA) with a solid background in finance.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in finance management.
  • Previous experience in the pharma/cosmetics industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to leverage financial data to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including engagement with shareholders and executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting software, preferably Syspro.
  • A natural communicator and team leader who inspires and motivates others.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, driving growth and profitability.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for accurate reporting.
  • Lead finance and IT teams, implementing best practices and optimizing processes.
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Drive financial accounting initiatives and maintain transparent communication with the board.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead capital allocation, financial risk management, and treasury activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to capitalise on opportunities and navigate challenges effectively.
