Senior Hair Stylist for a Luxury Brand - Knysna/Plett

We are looking for senior stylists who go beyond the basics, artists who understand trends, client care, and what it takes to create an experience, not just a service.

About Us

We are a luxury salon known for high standards, sophisticated aesthetics, and a vision tied closely to the local luxury and wedding market. Our second branch is launching in Knysna this October, and we are expanding our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-service styling: cutting, colouring, blow-drying, treatments, and styling.
• Bridal styling and group bookings. Experience or interest in wedding hair is a strong advantage.
• Salon leadership: oversee daily salon operations when the owner is off-site.
• Contribute to the launch and growth of the new Knysna location (if applicable).
• Build relationships with clients and help grow a loyal base.
• Uphold the aesthetic and values of the Saint Marks brand.

Requirements

• Formal qualification in hairdressing/styling (Diploma or equivalent).
• At least five years of salon experience as a stylist.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Passion for weddings, fashion, and trend-driven styling.
• Leadership or management experience in a salon setting is a bonus.
