Qualification

  • Undergraduate Qualification in Human Resources
  • Accreditation as Skills Development Facilitator

Requirements:


  • 5 Years experience as a Skills Development Facilitator in the engineering or manufacturing industry
  • 5 Years experience liaising with MERSETA
Duties

  • Analyse the skills requirements within the company and coordinate the execution of the personal development plans of employees, monitor the implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan and report accordingly.
  • A working knowledge of the Labour Relations Act, Skills Development Act, Skills Development Levies Act, Employment Equity Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
  • Take responsibility for the development of the WSP and the necessary consultation thereof.
  • Ensure submission of the ATR and WSP to MERSETA annually on time.
  • Ensure participation in MERSETA learnerships and skills programmes.
  • Firm understanding of the NQF and SAQA environments.
  • Firm knowledge of the Skills Development levy process.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
