Senior Business Analyst - Banking and Digital Wallet Expert

We seek a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with expertise in banking and digital wallet experience to collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams in delivering innovative solutions within the banking sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

About the Role:

You will closely work with the project lead and various stakeholders to identify pain points, streamline processes, and implement novel solutions. Your key responsibilities include:

In-depth Analysis: Partner with front-office and back-office stakeholders to comprehend current onboarding procedures, pinpoint bottlenecks, and identify areas for improvement.
Process Optimization: Utilize analytical skills to map existing onboarding workflows, highlighting inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.
Solution Design: Collaborate with the project team to design and implement improved onboarding experiences incorporating industry best practices and cutting-edge solutions.
Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data analytics to assess onboarding metrics, gauge customer satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement. Use these insights to advocate for data-driven process enhancements.
Clear Documentation: Draft and maintain a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) detailing needs, objectives, and specifications for the revamped onboarding experience. Regularly update the BRD based on stakeholder feedback and project developments.
Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with IT, operations, customer service, and other department stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to solution development and deployment.
Prototyping & Refinement: Develop prototypes of the new onboarding process, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate on the design to achieve optimal results.
Technical Expertise: Develop detailed functional and technical specification documents complementing the BRD, ensuring all project members possess a clear understanding of requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

You must meet the following minimum requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field (additional qualifications or certifications an asset).
Senior Business Analyst experience with a proven track record in the Digital Wallet industry.
Prior experience within the banking sector and knowledge of onboarding frameworks.
Proficiency in business analysis tools, process mapping applications, and data analytics software.
Mastery of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
A deep understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem is highly desirable.
