- Design and plan shaft sinking operations
- Manage the construction and maintenance of shaft infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues
- Implement measures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- GCC Mines & Works
- 10 years' experience in underground mining operations both Production and Production Services
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Shaft Engineer in the mining industry
- Proficient in shaft design software and engineering principles
- Ability to effectively manage projects and resources
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Salary: R2M/yr - R2.3M/yr, negotiable
