    Description

    A very well known pathology diagnostic firm is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to join them on a 3-month contract in Polokwane, should be able to start immediately.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform diagnostic analysis of patient specimens
    • Drive health and safety compliance in the lab
    • Preventative maintenance
    • Testing
    • Troubleshooting QC logs
    • Conduct data checks
    • CPD presentations
    • Sample prep for examination
    • Drive data accuracy

    Non-negotiables:

    • HPCSA registration - Medical Technologist (Microbiology or Clinical pathology with extended experience in Microbiology)
    • National diploma / degree
    • 0 - 3 years' experience - sampling and analysis of blood, body fluid and tissue
    • Must know how to use special instruments
    • Excellent English communication - written and verbal
    • Problem solver
    • Analytical
    • Time management
    • Detail orientated
    • Great interpretation skills and evaluation skills
    • Computer literate
    • Reference checks will be conducted upfront
