We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Perfect Placement Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems and components for new products and projects.

About the Role:

• Create detailed engineering designs, models, and drawings for mechanical systems and components.
• Conduct thorough analysis of stress, thermal dynamics, fluid mechanics, and other aspects of mechanical engineering.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, durability, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to promote continuous learning and technical skill development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in product development, machinery, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and design.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (written and spoken).

Benefits:

• Competitive salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
