Purpose of role:


  • To promote and sell "Advanced Services" within the CTS Products and Services Offering.

Requirements/Experience:


  • Grade 1
  • Trade, and/or technical qualification (Qualifications: S3/S4 or N6 to have the theoretical ability to understand the concepts mentioned below).
  • Possibly Electrical or (Preferably) Instrumentation qualification/certification to understand the communications aspect of the jobCustomer Service and/or Sales Experience.
  • Previous compressor experience advantageous.
  • 5 Years Parts and service sales experience in a similar industry.
  • Experience in customer interaction and communication ability.
  • Understanding communication protocols used in PLC/SCADA systems as well as remote monitoring via cloudbased programs (Experience in these systems and basic networking principles etc.).
  • Excellent computer skills needed.
  • Driver's license.
  • Travel to Branches and Regional customers/distributors as required.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Promote Airnet Sales to Direct and Indirect customer base.
  • Promote and Grow Airscan Business to Direct Customer Base.
  • Promote and sell Central Control Systems "Optimisers" to direct customer base.
  • Promote Connectivity Packages to direct and indirect customer base.
  • Electronical and VSD Drive upgrades to Direct customers.
  • Promote and sell "Energy Recovery Systems" to Direct Customers.
  • Promote and Sell "Competitor Services" to direct and indirect customer base.
  • Optimization, Control, and communication.
  • An extensive understanding of energy compressed air philosophy and the impact thereof on energy consumption. (Understand how to calculate electricity cost based on kw usage and running hours and explain to support a sale).
  • Conscious of energy savings methodologies within industrial, commercial, and mining sectors. (Must be up to date with industry energy saving drives etc. and explain to support a sale) AIRnet.
  • Knowledge of compressed air piping regulations and theory.
  • Understanding pressure/ flow relationship and the impact of pipe sizing on that relationship. (Understanding which calculations to use to substantiate theory and explain to support a sale).
  • Able to read construction/floor plans and draw up BOMs from customers' requirements. (Present a typical drawing and explain the legend etc.).
  • Energy Recovery An indepth understanding of thermal dynamics and fluid dynamics related to heat recovery systems. (Share examples of formulae and how to calculate and explain to support a sale).
  • Promote Service Level Agreements.
  • Promote Overhaul Business while in the pursuit of core responsibilities.
