*BSc or BTech in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of two years' experience in a QC and laboratory environment.

Description:
A lubricant manufacturer requires a QC Technician to join their team.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

Maintaining quality control processes; testing products and recording data during development and/or manufacturing of products while maintaining good laboratory practices; timeously testing raw material, additives, base oils and various products from the plant, ensuring adherence to QC specifications; testing samples as per specific test methods (ASTM, IP, DIN etc); validating and verifying testing instruments/equipment/apparatus at specified intervals aligned to the SOPs; Recording and reporting deviations in QC results in product testing to the supervisor; partaking in MAP scheme testing, customer samples testing and other related QC and/or R&D projects; adhering to SHEQ standards at all times and promoting good housekeeping.

Key Requirements:
BSc or BTech in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of two years' experience in a QC and laboratory environment. Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Additional Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities. Take initiative and have an eye for detail. Able to work well under pressure.
