About the Role:
We are seeking a highly capable Inbound/Warehouse Manager to join our Supply Chain team at Pepkor Lifestyle Logistics. In this role, you will manage the Service Centre Inbound, Warehouse, and Returns functions.
Your primary purpose will be to achieve the effective and efficient receiving and storing of goods, while maintaining and minimising damaged stock within our established targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the efficient receipt of merchandise in the Service Centre.
Manage the efficient storage and movement of stock in the warehouse.
Execute strict inventory control and safekeeping practices.
Manage the processes for returns and stock damages.
Implement and maintain strict compliance to relevant safety policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain performance improvement initiatives and handle required reporting.
Deal with all customers in a customer centricity manner.
Take charge of team human resources management, including skills development and coaching.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Warehouse or Logistics Certificate.
3+ years of inbound experience or 5 years of other Supply Chain experience.
NQF Alignment at Level 5.
Key Competencies & Skills
Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, logistics planning, and warehouse management.
Expertise in records maintenance, returns management, and distribution safety.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access and standard Warehouse Applications.
Strong business acumen, judgement, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent personal resilience, emotional maturity, and high attention to detail.
A proven track record of engaging diversity and leading change.
