Millwright Artisan Position

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs of electromechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal reliability and availability.
• Conducting fault-finding and analysis of machine condition and failures.
• Performing root cause analysis on processing equipment.
• Optimizing machines through proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Providing technical and specialist support to the maintenance and production team.

Additional Tasks:

• Inspecting and testing equipment as per prescribed ELKE schedule.
• Completing job cards and updating records.
• Increasing machine availability.
• Performing modifications as required.
• Ensuring process control software is backed up and kept up to date.
• Participating in Way Better teams.

Requirements:

• Red Seal Millwright Qualification.
• Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level.
• Experience in FMCG industry is advantageous.
• Experience in PLC programming is advantageous.
• Business English: Fluent.
• Code 08 Driver's License.
• Computer literacy (Basic).
• Ability to work in extreme conditions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
