We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and organised Cyber Security Administrative Assistant to join our team based in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our cybersecurity teams.


General Duties

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the team
  • Assist the team to comply with BUI Operational requirements (e.g. ISO27001)
  • Call Escalation
- monitor the team Project planner and escalate within the team where necessary

  • Assist with best practices for the team
  • Assist with the preparation and publishing of Shifts and standby rosters
  • Contact point for audit and followup with requirements
  • Assistant to the Teams appointed Service Delivery Manager
  • Assist with Document management criteria and submissions to Document CAB for approval.
  • Follow up on each submission and ensure the correct process is followed.
  • Assist with the administration of all Jira tickets and general supportbased queries for SecOps.
  • You are the Link between the Services desk and SecOps teams for followups and escalation of support Tickets.

Assistance with the Hiring Process

Onboarding of new clients

  • Assist with the scheduling of the initial internal kickoff sessions with relevant SOC members and Sales/project office
  • Assist with the scheduling and management of the project kickoff process with new customers into the SOC.
  • Creation of the initial folder structure and client templates within teams.

Monthly Customer meetings

  • Assist SDM and SoC Managers with the scheduling and management of these meetings
  • Document the followup actions required for these meetings. Transpose any actions required here to the relevant team project planners and follow up with the members when the need dictates.
  • Scheduling of Prep meetings before monthly meetings to allow Analysts sufficient time to prepare for monthly meetings

Requirements:

  • 12 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a cybersecurity environment
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • A background in Project management is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Teams planner, and other administrative software
  • Knowledge of cyber security concepts and technologies is a must
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
