    Our establishment in Evander is seeking for a well groomed Banqueting Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

    Your role and functions are usually tailored to suit different kinds of events at different times. Responsibilities is to coordinate all events and not different from your tasks during a corporate conference.


    • Attend to all events enquiries and supply guests with relevant information including charges and prices
    • Receive and filter all information from answering telephone lines to ensure the correct information is sent to the appropriate staff, also follow up.
    • Record each booking on NightsBridge and events calendar
    • Ensure all events orders are in the BEO (Banqueting event order) book and prepared for work week and to do the schedule by double checking 10 day with the BEO book.
    *Keep all food and beverage and other departments memos, reports, and correspondence up o date and current, distribute assignments and log them, including employee and departmental files.perform filing of daily BEO and audit checks.

    *Perform ordering of special needs for departments and supplies for the department.

    • Perform data entry and create required templates, documents and forms.
    • Attend pre and posts briefing function meetings on BEO, safety and service issues.
    *Produce reports such as time saver reports, incident reports, documentation and other reports on staff as necessary.

    • Create clients requests, including food, wine, beverages, directional and door signage, menus and tenets, table numbers etc.
    • Responsible for making daily function sheets/orders for the hotel, F&B Manager, supervisors, beverages, starting meal break times and coffee breaks.
    Write all functions on a board, including electronics

    *Request feedback from all group organisers to improve on our services

    *Ask for guidance from Food and Beverage and Front Office staff in case the Food and Beverage Manager is absent for any decision making.

    • Work hand in hand with the stock controller to make sure guests beverage request are met.
    • Ensure completion of all assigned tasks for the day to day by checking off the office log book, assign closing duties to staff.
    • Monitor sign in/out forms, produce timesaver reports, maintain information of employees.
