Job Overview

Cletech Recruitment seeks a highly organized and experienced Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation of a fleet of over 400 vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, minimal downtime, and optimal fleet performance.
Vehicle Tracking: Monitor vehicle locations, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption to maximize efficiency.
Maintenance Coordination: Schedule regular servicing, inspections, and repairs in accordance with maintenance plans.
Communication: Effectively communicate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding vehicle status, maintenance, and logistics.
Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and regulatory requirements, including licenses, permits, and insurance.
Reporting: Generate accurate reports on fleet performance, maintenance records, and issues related to the fleet.
Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve fleet-related issues, such as breakdowns or service disruptions.
Fleet Optimization: Collaborate with the team to implement strategies reducing operating costs and improving fleet performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Fleet Management Experience: Proven track record of managing large fleets, preferably over 400 vehicles.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams, drivers, and external partners.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various demands of fleet management.
Problem-Solving: Ability to efficiently resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with vehicle maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements.
Computer Literate: Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
Team Player: Ability to work well within a team, collaborating across departments.
