    Branch Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee our offices in Cape Town, focusing on strategy and development, customer service, people management, financial control, and relationship building. Automotive industry experience is a priority.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Job Purpose:

    Responsible for managing outlet personnel, supervising operations, and ensuring efficient day-to-day activities. Improving efficiencies and streamlining activities to maximize financial performance.

    Full accountability for people, finance, stock levels, and meeting cost and delivery requirements. Developing a motivated team by building working relationships and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

    Manage the team on best practices, establish policies, and mentor teams. Implement continuous improvement and modern marketing/selling principles by identifying deficiencies and recommending changes in training, practices, and processes. Subordinates include Salesmen, Storemen, Picker/Packers, Drivers, and Admin personnel.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    Qualifications and/or Experience:

    • Matric Certificate (with maths literacy minimum). Additional courses/qualifications are an advantage.
    • At least 8 – 10 years' experience in a similar management role within the motor industry.
    • Sound technical knowledge and understanding.
    • Experience in motor part sales.
    • Experience managing Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and associated financial responsibilities.
    • Understanding of procurement.
    • Understanding of ISO 9001/45001 or relevant quality management system.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with stock management.
    • Sales and customer interaction experience.
